A Different Kind of Consulting

I believe good consulting should do more than produce an impressive recommendation. It should ask better questions, follow the evidence honestly, account for real-world constraints, and create solutions that make sense for the people who actually have to use them.

01

Intellectually rigorous

Recommendations are grounded in evidence, sound methodology, and careful reasoning. We do not dress assumptions up as conclusions.

02

Designed for real conditions

A theoretically perfect solution is useless if no one has the time, resources, authority, or support to implement it. Feasibility is part of the work from the beginning.

03

Built around people

Research, education, and organizational change all depend on human beings. Their knowledge, constraints, experiences, and needs are not secondary variables.

Where evidence meets possibility.

The name Aster & Axiom reflects the balance at the center of our work.

An axiom provides a foundation: a principle from which careful reasoning can begin.

An aster grows, adapts, and reaches toward what is possible.

We believe meaningful work requires both. It needs rigor and imagination, structure and curiosity, evidence, and the courage to ask better questions.

Aster & Axiom is the research, education, and strategy practice of Ad Astra Works.

OUR STORY

Aster & Axiom was founded by Megan Harrison, a research and education leader with expertise in clinical research, healthcare leadership, professional education, curriculum development, program evaluation, and research workforce development.

Her work sits at the intersection of scholarship and practice. She brings experience leading research operations, educating emerging professionals, developing competency-based curriculum, and translating complex regulatory, scientific, and organizational concepts into practical systems people can use.

She holds a doctorate in healthcare education, communication, and leadership and approaches each engagement as a scholar-practitioner: critically, collaboratively, and with little patience for performative solutions that look impressive but accomplish nothing.
